About Activism Labs

Activism Labs is a space for the development of tools for grassroots organizers and activists. We specialize in web-based project management and productivity tools.

This project was born out of the need for a customizable tool for teams to manage all the elements of a project. Including:

• Meetings: agenda, notes, date, location, invitations, attendance, repeating meetings
• Task Tracking: Keep track of tasks, who is executing them, who is holding that person responsible, and when they are due.
• Timelines: Projects are planned from a timeline perspective: rows are realms of the project, columns are dates, and cells contain the tasks that need to be done that week.
• Communication: Projects have a discussion listserv for communication within the team just like google groups, but membership is reflected within the system instead of needing to go somewhere to add them to the listerv.
• Hierarchy : You want to be able to add someone to the team without sharing them on 3 different google docs folders (one for the organization, one for the project, and one for the specific team).
